The Mustard Band
About
The Mustard Band is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
The Mustard Band started in a theatre. The players met in 2008 working on Margery Ford's musical Still Standing, and once the season closed they didn't want to stop. The result is a Brisbane acoustic ensemble built on real instruments and vocal harmonies, playing a wide range of classic covers. Because it's acoustic, the sound adapts to the room, whether that's a cocktail party, a wedding reception or a pub gig. Line-ups go from two players up to five, with a trio and four-piece in between. They also play clubs, private parties and company events.
