The Memphis Cowboys

The Memphis Cowboys give a party the feel of a Vegas lounge with a Nashville accent. Out front is singer and entertainer Shaleena Bain, backed by two dancers who also sing, with a four-piece band behind them. The set list leans on rock, rockabilly, swing and rock 'n' roll: Elvis Presley, Stray Cats, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Shakin' Stevens, then country from Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. Each member has a long history in corporate work, show bands and overseas performing, and the show leans hard on cheeky charm. It's a good choice for a themed party, a club night or a company function in Queensland where you want a show as well as a band.
