The $layers blend a DJ set with a live band, so the music can pass from the band to the decks and back without a gap. The trio covers vocals, keys and drums with percussion, putting fresh spins on hits old and new. They have a soft spot for songs from 1995 to 2010, but the list shifts with what's in and out of favour, and they'll steer it towards your taste. Musical director and DJ $teve has toured overseas directing pop acts and has led groups at stadiums, nightclubs, island resorts and convention centre galas, as well as small private parties.
