The Hurricanes Band is a cover band based in Adelaide, SA.
The Hurricanes Band can keep things low for dinner and speeches, then turn it up when your guests are ready to dance. An evening show usually runs three to four hours, and the Adelaide band works the set around whatever formalities you've planned, with their own PA free for speeches. The song list is classic rock and soul, heavy on the Australian stuff: Cold Chisel, Skyhooks, Daddy Cool, Divinyls, Paul Kelly, Icehouse, Australian Crawl and The Easybeats. Next to those sit Aretha Franklin, the Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Pat Benatar, the Blues Brothers and Amy Winehouse. Power is all they need, or a generator if you're outdoors. Their usual radius is 50 km, though places like the Fleurieu or Mannum can be arranged, and they carry public liability insurance.
