Fire, contortion, ballet and aerial arts all live inside The Hoodlum Ballet, a Gold Coast troupe that calls its dancers ballerinas from the hood. The style is deliberately edgy, an underground freak show carried off with real elegance and set to tribal groove. Each booking is shaped to your taste. You might want a fire show, belly dancers, contortionists or aerial ballerinas, and many of the performers can switch between several acts across one event. Stilt walking, LED and hula hoop work are in the mix too. They take private functions and corporate events, travel up to 50 km, and every performer carries public liability insurance.
