If your crowd knows its Johnny Cash from its Merle Haggard, The Honky Tonk Heroes are speaking their language. The band plays outlaw country and honky tonk, drawing on the songs of Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson as well as those two. It's music with a bit of swagger in it, well suited to a country-themed birthday, a pub function or a party where cowboy boots are part of the dress code. The band comes from Berwick in Victoria.
