The Hallmarks is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Every song The Hallmarks play was made famous by an Australian act. The Melbourne showband was put together for the corporate market as a dance and showcase act, with four singers out front and a full band behind them, all live and nothing pre-recorded. Think Shout, Eagle Rock, Physical and Friday on My Mind, disco from Marcia Hines, Kylie and the Bee Gees, then AC/DC, The Angels, Hunters & Collectors, Dragon, the Hoodoo Gurus and Australian Crawl. They're a dance band rather than a rock act, and a full floor singing every word is the goal. Themed shows include Goodmorning Charlie, with songs from the Vietnam era, The Front, built on rock's great front men and women, and Surf Patrol for a beach party. As The House Band, they'll back a conference or gala. They take corporate events, weddings, festivals, private functions and venue nights.
