The G&Ts is a cover band based in Adelaide, SA.
Ten musicians and a three-piece horn section make The G&Ts a proper soul and disco party band. The horns sit on top of the rhythm section and give the singers plenty to push against, and the whole night is built for dancing. The set moves from soul like My Girl, Hold On, I'm Comin', Mustang Sally and Chain of Fools, through funk such as Superstition and Brick House, into disco with Le Freak, Disco Inferno, I Will Survive and Y.M.C.A. It suits a function where most guests would rather be on the floor than at the table. If the venue can manage stage risers for the horns, that helps. The Adelaide band travels statewide.
