The Father & Son Band

Two players, no backing tracks. The Father & Son Band is Gav Bell and his son Jimi, and everything you hear is played live. Jimi drums and sings. Gav sings too and covers lead guitar while running a bass and loop pedal, which is how a duo ends up sounding like a three or four-piece. Jimi has been gigging professionally with his dad since he was eight, so they've had years to lock in together, and the covers come out in a style of their own. Based on the Gold Coast, they're a smart choice when you want band-sized sound from a two-person setup.
