The Fabulous Wonder Mama

Paint and sip with a drag queen at the head of the table is one of the things The Fabulous Wonder Mama does best. Wilma, as she's also known, runs creative drawing sessions, drag trivia and bingo, and hens parties, and she sings live while she hosts. The music is retro disco and pop, the kind that gets people dancing in their chairs before they're up on their feet. Her style is camp and broad enough for a mixed crowd, from a work function to a festival or a morning melodies session. In Sydney she has played Claire's Cabaret in Darlinghurst and the Sydney Fringe Festival. For smaller events she can bring her own sound, and for bigger or more complex ones a cordless mic and sound system may need to be supplied. She travels nationwide.
