The Daisy Rifles

The Daisy Rifles write alt-blues that calls up faraway places: red dirt roads through the outback, flat scrub in the heat shimmer, a Far North Queensland beach facing a stormy sea. The three-piece keeps the sound raw and stripped back, and the songs carry a lot of passion for life, love and longing. Bustard Head, their EP, came out in 2023. Put them in a listening room or on an afternoon festival bill, somewhere the audience will pay attention to songs with a strong sense of place.
