The Beatnix

On stage, The Beatnix play exact copies of the Beatles' guitars, amps and drums, and the wardrobe changes with each era of the show. First come the 1964 suits, later the Shea Stadium jackets, and finally the colourful Sgt. Pepper gear. The music takes the same journey, from early club songs through to the psychedelic years, so lifelong fans and newer ones both hear their favourites. This Sydney band has been playing Beatles shows for more than four decades. They've taken it to International Beatleweek in Liverpool, the Sydney Opera House and Wintersun on the Gold Coast, as well as to Asia and Europe. They record, too. It's Four You is an album of 19 Lennon/McCartney songs that were never released by the Beatles, and Not…Live at The BBC came out in 2024. Festivals and corporate events are both regular work.
