The Balloon Monsters of Twisted Designs

Picture a monster more than 2.5 metres tall, twisted from over 600 balloons, wading through your crowd for hugs. The Balloon Monsters of Twisted Designs look a little scary, and they squeak when squeezed. They pose for selfies and fire balloons out of their costumes for guests to take home. They get around well on grass and concrete, and have been known to take stairs and escalators. One twister needs six to seven hours to build a monster, or two can do it in two and a half, on site or ahead of the event. Stored in air conditioning between sets, a monster can last three days, and operators can do up to five one-hour roving sets a day. The build needs a clean space of at least 6 by 3 metres, ideally air conditioned, plus power for a small compressor. Brisbane-based, travels nationwide, public liability insured.
