The Bald Brothers

Piano accordion and guitar give The Bald Brothers an old-fashioned warmth that's hard to find at most functions. Dan Reade plays the accordion, and Matcham Caine sings and plays guitar. They're a blues and roots duo from the Byron shire, and both are well known around the Northern Rivers as performers and music teachers. The songs span roughly a hundred years, from the early 1900s to the early 2000s, so Summertime and You Are My Sunshine might sit next to Dirty Old Town, Ring of Fire, Get Along Home Cindy and Call Me The Breeze. They bring all their own gear and just need a power point. They'll travel up to 50 km.
