The Amici Band is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
The Amici Band can be almost any size you need. At the small end it's a DJ alone, or a DJ joined by a sax player and a singer. Then comes a duo on piano or guitar, a trio that brings in guitar or percussion, and a four-piece with bass. From there it grows to anywhere between five and nine players, with more horns and guitars. The Brisbane band covers the 60s through the 90s, disco, funk, soul, R&B and Top 40, plus jazz and easy listening for the early part of the night. Full sound production takes a couple of hours to set up before the first song, and safe power is a must. Their equipment carries current test tags, the band holds public liability insurance, and no corner of Australia is off their map.
