Telita Lee & The Huskies

Blues, country and folk sit at the centre of Telita Lee & The Huskies, with some pop mixed through, and Telita Lee's soulful, powerful voice leads the way. The collective grew out of a friendship and musical partnership between Telita and Richard Aspden, and the two of them care as much about old-time blues and country as about newer songs. Their sets pair their own singles, which have topped the AMRAP charts, with their own arrangements of favourites, reaching back to songwriters like Johnny Cash and John Prine.
