Tate & Lozz

Tate & Lozz can cover a long evening in stages. They'll play up to four 45-minute sets, so the night might open with Tate alone at the piano, playing quietly while guests mingle, and lift to something more upbeat later on. It's a piano and vocal act that works as a solo, duo or trio, moving through jazz, classical, folk, blues, soul and funk to match the mood of the room. Both are working session musicians. Tate graduated from the ANU School of Music with First Class Honours and has been a support act for Sir Elton John. Lozz studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, then toured with Paul Kelly, Marcia Hines, John Butler, Kate Ceberano, Angus & Julia Stone and The Wiggles. On the day they'll want power, plus some food and drinks. Both hold public liability insurance, and they travel up to 100 km from Sydney.
