Taner Remzi

Acoustic or electric, sung or instrumental, Taner Remzi can pitch a guitar set several ways. His medleys run through Split Enz, Neil Diamond, Bowie, Crowded House, Dire Straits, The Who, Icehouse, Roxy Music, The Beatles and Coldplay, and beyond those there are jazz standards, retro disco, Turkish and Spanish music, and his own classical guitar arrangements, including Classical Gas and pieces by Sky and The Shadows. He writes original alternative rock as well. Expect a polite, low-key performer with a bit of humour, who takes care over the sound mix for each occasion. He needs a small stage area, power and possibly a chair. Based in Notting Hill, Victoria, he travels up to 50 km.
