Takin Cover

Takin' Cover build a night out of songs your guests can sing without thinking. The Melbourne four-piece has been together since 2011 and covers two eras at once: classic rock and pop from AC/DC, John Farnham and Bon Jovi, then recent chart hits from Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter and Lizzo. The harmonies are tight, the arrangements are worked out properly, and the band talks to the crowd rather than just playing at it. It's a dance-floor band first. Book them for a wedding reception, a work party or a birthday where you want people up and singing until the last song. Between them, the members have played plenty of well-known rooms in Melbourne and around Australia.
