Takes Two is a musical duo based in Toowoomba, QLD.
Two women, two voices that sit close together in harmony. That's Takes Two, a covers duo out of Toowoomba. Each spent years in separate bands before they joined up, and the pair now play rock and pop from the 60s to right now: Chris Stapleton next to Linda Ronstadt, Teddy Swims after ABBA, with Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Robert Palmer, The Pointer Sisters and Lynyrd Skynyrd in the mix. Hand them a wish list and they'll try to learn it, which is handy for a birthday or a wedding with a few must-plays. Keys are part of the setup. They need only a power point, and they'll travel up to 300 km.
