Syrup

Syrup plays garage the way Melbourne's new scene hears it: early 2000s UK garage and grime, cut with 90s house and disco. His sets build from warm-up through to peak time, with smooth mixing and a few unexpected flips along the way. He's played some of the city's well-known club rooms, including Levels, Pawn & Co and Section 8. He's also a founding member of Our Garage, a Naarm-based UKG collective that hosts its own events. He's the booking to make when the music itself is the point, at a launch, a party or a proper club night.
