Sydney Bush Band is a bush band based in Sydney, NSW.
Your guests can follow a called bush dance with Sydney Bush Band, or just get up and dance however they like. The core line-up is fiddle, flute, sax and guitar, and bass and drums can be added when you want more punch. The music draws on colonial Australian songs alongside Irish, Scottish and English traditions, with jig and reel sets such as Kesh and Merry Blacksmith. Click Go the Shears, Botany Bay, Waltzing Matilda and Ryebuck Shearer sit next to Slim Dusty's When the Rain Tumbles Down in July and Men at Work's Down Under. Their Celtic airs and bush ballads also make easy background music for a corporate dinner. Festivals, weddings, birthdays and themed events are all on the list.
