Swellegant

Laughing, crying and singing along are all on the cards when Swellegant take the floor. The Melbourne duo is a soprano and a baritone/tenor, and they weave stories between songs from opera, musical theatre and classical crossover. Expect O Mio Babbino Caro and Libiamo ne' lieti calici from La Traviata, plus numbers from Phantom and Cats, The Prayer and Time to Say Goodbye. You can book a 20-minute spot, a half hour or a 45-minute set, and they'll consider requests if there's time to prepare them. If a band or DJ is also on the bill, they'd rather share that PA; otherwise they bring their own, along with their microphones and tracks. Live musicians are welcome to join.
