Supress The Grump

Distorted guitars, synth sequences and fast funk grooves are the tools Supress The Grump use on a flat room. The Sydney band plays it for laughs, too. Their pitch is that they turn up to a sombre crowd and peck away at the bad mood until nothing's left of it but the dancing. Slapped bass drives a lot of the sound, and between the grooves come odd stories about eggs and farm animals. It's a band for a party with a sense of humour, where people want to move and don't mind a bit of weirdness on the mic.
