Superstitious is a cover band based in Sydney, NSW.
The horn section in Superstitious dances, with choreographed moves, while a funk rhythm section keeps the hits rolling underneath. It's an eight or nine-piece Sydney party band that plays non-stop medleys of pop, soul, Motown, disco and retro, from Aretha and Stevie through to Beyoncé and Christina, plus current chart songs. Male and female singers share the leads. Before the dancing, they can do a 45-minute dinner set, either instrumental or with vocals. It's a big band for a big room, and it suits company parties, weddings and functions where you're counting on a full floor.
