Super Trouper is a tribute band based in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Dancing Queen in full costume, with choreography to match, is the heart of Super Trouper, an eight-piece ABBA tribute from the Sunshine Coast. The backing vocalists step out for their own tributes to Neil Diamond, Helen Reddy, Cher and Olivia Newton-John, and the band expects the room to sing and dance along. The same team offers a smaller act, the Doo Wop Dolls, covering the 40s to the 80s with songs like In the Mood, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Fever, Sway, Be My Baby, Chapel of Love, Proud Mary and Respect. Christmas songs are ready too. Plan the space. The Doo Wop Dolls fit in 3 x 3 metres and bump in two hours ahead, while Super Trouper needs 6 x 4 metres and three hours or more. A dressing room with a mirror, and a bathroom nearby, helps. Public liability insured, they travel nationwide.
