Super Cell

Taree is home for Super Cell, a rock covers band of four players who work the NSW coast from Sydney up to Coffs Harbour. Their songs start in the 80s and come right up to recent rock radio, taking in alternative rock and grunge along the way. Midnight Oil, The Screaming Jets and The Angels sit beside Foo Fighters, Metallica, Incubus and Queens of the Stone Age, with Dragon, Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock for the Aussie classics. Shows come in two, three or four-hour lengths, so a long event can keep them on for most of it. The players are seasoned and the gear is good. Outdoors, they need a covered area with a covered floor, rain protection on the sides and reliable power. Private parties and outdoor events must also have security and an RSA officer on site.
