Stix & Stringz is an indie band based in Hervey Bay, QLD.
Up to four hours of live music is on offer from Stix & Stringz, a family trio mixing covers with their own songs. The sound is indie folk with pop and rock leanings. Covers include Flame Trees, Riptide, Mr Brightside, Zombie, Wonderwall, Big Jet Plane, Birds of a Feather, Pink Pony Club and Stick Season, and originals like Sushi Shop, Coffee Orders and Grey slot in between. They played the Gympie Music Muster in 2025, then the Agnes Blues, Roots and Rock Festival and Camp For a Cure in 2026, the last to more than 1,000 people. A battery-powered sound system means they can play where there's no mains power, and a larger system runs when power is available. A covered area is preferred. Public liability insured, they're in Hervey Bay and travel up to 500 km.
