Stevie Wright Tribute

This one's a stage show rather than a covers set. Scott McRae stars in a rockumentary-style musical built on the life and songs of Stevie Wright and The Easybeats, telling the story warts and all with a band of Australian musicians behind him on stage. Archival film and photos run alongside the band, plus never-before-seen footage of friends and fellow musicians, Angry Anderson, Jon English and Snowy Fleet among them. The 18 hits include all three parts of Evie, She's So Fine and Friday on My Mind. It's a show for a theatre or a concert night, where the audience wants the story as much as the songs. It's based in Sydney.
