Steve Steel

Steve Steel starts as one singer with a guitar and can grow into a trio. An upright bass makes it a duo, and adding a drummer makes three. The covers are mostly classic rock, with Queen, Prince, the Stones and Bowie among them, plus some chilled ballads for the quieter stretches, and Steve calls the overall feel a swampin', stompin' sound. There are originals too: an album called Let It Roll, released under the name Steve x Steel. The upright bass duo looks and sounds right at a winery or in a pub beer garden. Steve sets up a PA and lights and only asks for a power point, and can help out with MC duties if your night needs a host. Melbourne-based, with travel up to 100 km.
