Steve Bennett Music

Tight rhythm grooves and the odd tasty guitar solo are the backbone of a Steve Bennett set. He sings, plays guitar and tells stories with his songs, and the material is wide enough to get people both singing and dancing. Blues sits at the heart of it, alongside his own originals. Steve learned the basics from his dad in a house full of lounge-room jam sessions, and in 1992 he started the family band Ghost Road, which he still plays with. He's also worked as a session rhythm guitarist for touring bands and teams up with his brother Beau for duo gigs billed as The Bennett Bros. You can book him solo or as a trio. He's based in Bonny Hills and travels up to 500 km.
