STEELE play heavy, with enough funk underneath to keep the grooves moving. The Gold Coast four-piece mix hard rock and heavy metal with psychedelic rock and funk, which gives the sound more swing than a straight metal band. Anton Tait sings, Marley Aylward plays guitar, Luke Thompson handles bass and Thomas Haselam is on drums. Their first EP is 526, and they've played gigs on the Gold Coast, in Brisbane and around NSW. Put them on at a pub rock night, or at a birthday where the guests came for riffs and volume.
