STAZIE plays hard, and plays for the dancefloor first. The sets layer the mechanical drive of modern hard techno with old-school hard dance, so the sound keeps shifting and never settles into a loop. Depending on the room, that might be the rhythmic push of hardgroove or the club-ready bounce of hard bounce. Once the night turns darker, so does the music, pulling in schranz, gabber, hardcore, industrial and psybass as the floor builds. Every set is read off the energy in front of the decks rather than planned in advance. It's music for a late club night or an underground event, where the crowd has turned up to dance hard.
