Spud Thompson plays mostly his own songs, and they swing a long way, from bare folk ballads to layered electronica and old-school rhythm and blues. He sings, plays several instruments and has a cheeky streak that lightens the more emotional numbers. Covers are there when a crowd wants something familiar.
