Southwall is a cover band based in Brunswick Heads, NSW.
Book Southwall as two, three or four players. Their set blends their own songs with covers that lean towards soul, blues and roots rock: Take Me to the River, Wicked Game, Jolene, Angel from Montgomery, Use Me, The Weight, Green River, Never Tear Us Apart and Start Me Up. Mark Heazlett sings, drawing on a country background. Toby Andrews plays electric guitar with a blues player's ear for improvising, Matt Bone is on bass, and Mat Akehurst covers percussion. They've spent about ten years shaping the sound together around Northern NSW. They can bring their own PA, and a relaxed pub afternoon or a party where people want real musicianship suits them well. The band is based in Brunswick Heads and travels up to 200 km.
