Sounds of Them is a cover band based in Wheelers Hill, VIC.
Six players on stage and classic rock from the 70s through the 90s: Sounds of Them keep to the rock hits most of your guests will already have sung along to somewhere. Rebel Yell, Mustang Sally, Highway to Hell, My Sharona, Hungry Like the Wolf and Kids in America all turn up, alongside Aussie staples like Solid Rock, Evie Part 1, Boys in Town, April Sun and Long Way to the Top. The line-up is a singer, two guitars, bass, keys and drums. PA and lighting come with the band, and they handle their own mixing, so no sound engineer is needed. Allow a stage at least 2 metres by 5, two 10-amp circuits nearby, and cover beyond the stage outdoors. Set-up takes an hour plus a sound check, and pack-up another hour. Friday nights and weekends are when they play, across the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne's south-east.
