Soulmates is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Five players and three lead voices: Soulmates bring disco, soul, funk and pop to Melbourne functions with a saxophone out front. Reneé leads most of the singing and adds percussion and harmonies, with 20 years of live shows behind her. Pedro plays guitar, takes his turn on lead vocals and handles the solos. Dave switches between saxophone, vocals and percussion. John Steele drives the band from the drum kit, and Paul on bass is the one most likely to chat with the crowd between songs. It's a warm, sociable band that suits a birthday, a wedding or a corporate night where you want people dancing and talking in the same room. Venue bookings are welcome too.
