SoulMama

SoulMama sings and plays across jazz blues, Motown, soul and blues, and some of the set is her own material. Her voice carries a lot of feeling, which suits slower numbers as much as the upbeat Motown ones. She's had a long apprenticeship in very different rooms: busking on Sydney's streets, clubs and markets, harbour cruises, parties, gigs for kids and shows at aged care venues. That range means she's used to reading an audience fast, so a family lunch and a late cruise on the harbour are both within her reach.
