Sonic FX go after the songs most cover bands leave alone. Expect classics and deeper cuts from Steely Dan, Toto, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross and The Doobie Brothers, plus Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Tedeschi Trucks and the Eagles, Joe Walsh's songs included, with some Aussie rock favourites mixed through. It's music you can dance to or sit back and hear properly. The five-piece has a female lead singer with guitar, bass, keys and drums, and three of them sing harmony. They bring full professional sound and lighting. Outdoors they need a covered stage, and indoors enough room for five players, with venue access two hours ahead for setting up. The band works out of Ballina and travels up to 200 km.
