Somerset Peede

Somerset Peede is a Sydney violist who has played professionally since 2016, in settings that range from symphony stages to film soundtracks. Her orchestral work takes in the London Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra and Nashville Ballet in the US, and Sydney Philharmonia, the Sydney Scoring Orchestra and Sydney Lyric Orchestra at home. She has done chamber and quartet residencies in Singapore, Italy and Germany, and recorded for film, television and video games. She also founded Pursuit 19 Music Services and is its principal contractor. For a ceremony or formal event that wants classical strings played at a professional level, that background counts for a lot.
