Some Like It HOT! is a musical duo based in Adelaide, SA.
Two people, a full party-band sound. Some Like It HOT! pair keyboard, electric guitar and vocals with sequenced parts, so they come across far bigger than an acoustic duo. The volume stays under their control, which means real live dinner music at a level guests can talk over, then classic hits once the floor opens. Songs include Run to Paradise, Friday on My Mind, Summer of '69, Sweet Home Alabama, Need You Tonight, Chasing Cars and the Time Warp. With more than 30 years of experience, they've played work shows, weddings, private parties and hotels. Set-up and sound check take about an hour. They need at least 4 by 3 metres and one power point, or two if you'd like their lights over the dance floor. Outdoors is fine unless it's wet or windy. Adelaide-based, they travel nationwide.
