SOLUNE

SOLUNE is the stage name of Selene Messinis, a Melbourne multi-instrumentalist with a strong, adaptable sound. She studied jazz piano at the VCA and has spent more than ten years performing, touring and recording. That work includes playing with Emma Donovan, Gordon Koang, Teether, Harper Bloom, Bumpy, thndo, Eliza Hull and Circus Oz. In 2025 she received an APRA Professional Development Award and was named a MIJF Take Note Leader, and in 2021 she won the MWIJF Recording Prize. The Age and Beat Magazine have both featured her. For an event, that jazz grounding and range suit a room that appreciates serious musicianship up close.
