Slam is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
A woman fronts Slam, a five-piece Brisbane covers band with a raw, edgy sound and no interest in gimmicks. Their set is rock anthems, the classic ones and the modern ones, played with a heavy thump, plus a few of the best rock songs to reach the Top 40. That's the whole idea: good rock and nothing else. So Slam belong at a pub gig or a party in a room that can take some volume, where people would rather hear guitars than a bit of everything.
