Simply Aussie is a musical trio based in Brisbane, QLD.
Australia Day, Anzac Day or any night built around home-grown music is where Simply Aussie belong. Three lead vocalists share the singing over live guitar and keys, with close harmonies throughout, and sequenced bass and drums fill the band out to a five-piece sound. Because the drums are programmed, they can play as quietly or as loudly as your venue wants. The show runs up to four hours and pulls the audience in. Songs come from Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, Men at Work, Jimmy Barnes, Daddy Cool, Mental As Anything, Dragon, Redgum, AC/DC, The Easybeats, Billy Thorpe, INXS, Bullamakanka, Powderfinger and Eric Bogle. They're a Brisbane trio and take weddings, themed events and private functions too.
