Simone Bertanza

Simone Bertanza plays folk-blues with one foot in American roots music and the other in Australian. He's from Brescia, Italy, and played there for years, working with Ryan Adams and Elliott Murphy as well as Joe D'Urso and James Maddock, musicians from Springsteen's circle. Then he came to Australia and backpacked around the country, playing as he went. Along the way he has shared stages with Kim Churchill, JC and The Tree, and Steph Strings. His debut EP is Jammin on The River, and new music is being recorded. A songwriter's set like his suits a bar, a small venue or a relaxed gathering where people will listen. He's in Fitzroy, Victoria.
