Silly Lily

House music is Silly Lily's home ground, usually between 100 and 135 bpm, with club techno nights pushing up towards 175. Current residencies include Mu Mu and the Lost Sundays and Lost Paradise parties at the Ivy. The range goes well beyond the club, though. For a waterside venue there's disco, boogie, rare groove, Latin, soul, funk and jazz, the sound behind earlier residencies at The Espy and at Manly Wharf, now Felons. Other nights get jazz-sampled 80s hip hop and R&B, deep house, minimal, trance or crowd-pleasing singalongs for a commercial room.
