Shimon Moore is a musical soloist based in Ryde, NSW.
Two halves to the night: Shimon Moore opens with acoustic guitar and vocals while people eat and talk, then switches to an open-format DJ set to get them dancing. Either half can also be booked on its own. The live songs are rock, pop and singalong favourites spanning the 80s, the 90s and the current charts, and the DJ side takes in pop, rock, dance, R&B, disco and party anthems. Requests and must-play songs are welcome. Over 5,000 shows sit behind Shimon, in Australia and overseas. The gear all comes along, guitar, microphone, PA and DJ equipment, and needs a flat, covered spot of about 2 by 2 metres, a bit more for the decks, plus a standard power outlet. Based in Ryde, Shimon travels up to 50 km.
