Shanwa

Progressive and melodic house and techno make up most of a Shanwa set, with the odd turn into tech house. She began in the early 2000s on Technics 1210s while living in the UK, collecting vinyl and chasing underground sounds, and now plays digitally. Her sets are built as journeys that move with the crowd, drawing on a big library. In recent years she has become a regular on Perth's underground scene, playing Bioma events, Earthdance, Blazing Swan, Blossom and Pachamama's Disconnect to Reconnect, plus an AAE event at Port Beach. She suits a late-night party or an outdoor gathering built around dancing. She's based in Joondalup.
