Shanita Vice

Every record in a Shanita Vice set is vinyl. She builds her sets around mood more than genre, so the night might drift from soul, funk and boogie through disco, R&B and 80s pop, then on to new wave, electro, early rap and club tracks. She's good at reading a room and keeping it at the right level. Her roots go back to the 90s rave scene in New Zealand, and these days she calls Geelong home. Melbourne's hi-fi bars keep her on regular rotation, Bar Selecta and LB's among them. Book her when you want feel-good music with some depth to it, for a bar night or a party that should end up dancing.
