Shane Walters

One player, but not a thin sound. Shane Walters loops his parts live, laying down bass lines, rhythm and vocal harmonies on the spot, then plays acoustic guitar and lap slide over the top. The songs are mostly covers from classic rock, blues and folk, plus popular favourites, with some of his own tunes worked in. He changes the pace as he goes, so the same set might start as easy background listening and build into something livelier. Markets and festivals are familiar ground for him, along with plenty of venue gigs.
